I am a musician, composer and teacher living in Galway, Ireland. I was born in London to Irish parents and I knew from an early age that I would end up “home in Ireland”. As a young musician I played in the Royal Albert Hall in London and more recently in 2015 got the opportunity to accompany the talented Aimee Banks in Carnegie Hall, New York. A songwriter many years ago said to me that he didn’t know how the tunes came to him – they just seemed to flow – and I find the same thing happening to me! So, I began composing music seriously a few years ago after attending a song-writing course with Jack L at the Bantry Literary Festival in Cork.
